What so difference between ABC and McD Restaurant?

isn't that both restaurant sell food?
isn't that all customer need to eat, why is it more customer prefer to eat at McD Restaurant?

is McD really just a restaurant?

the answer is:
McD is a system.

what is system? A system is a set of functions or activities within an organization that work together for the aim of the organization.

in McD system, the set of functions consist of:
Order-taker/cashier subsystem
grill and food preparation subsystem
drive-through subsystem
purchasing subsystem
training subsystem

all these subsystem are connected together.

People buying not just the food at McD, they buy the results deliver by all these subsystem. ABC restaurant do not know that customer is not just buying a burger, that's why - they fail to capture the market.

System improvement is the key to compete and win the specific competitive space. the first step to improve - identify your subsystem with Flowchart and diagram.
